Yoooo... I'd like to hear this.
:iconashloomis:
a) Because we were already friends before you joined dA.
b) Doctor Who.
c) You're one of the more intelligent people I know. That's not to say most people I know are dumb, you're just smarter than them in general.
d) I remember that one time you told Manny and I that you like to dress up as a girl and pose in front of a mirror. I didn't realize you were joking for months. When I saw the picture of that girl from the Reefer Madness remake in your avatar and on your profile on Friday the 13th, I thought it was you cross dressing because she looks kinda like a boy!
e) What was your favorite movie when you were a little kid?

As the size of an explosion increases, the number of social situations it is incapable of solving approaches zero.
:iconashloomis:
a) You watched me back in the days when I watched anyone who watches me. But luckily, you were one of the few people who watched me that was a good artist!
b) Really girly girls. It's not because you act like one of them, you don't. But the way you talk about Neal and the stuff you draw is just so girly!
c) I like how you're kind and friendly and try your best to be a great friend to everyone you know. It's really nice how you always show interest in what I'm saying, I never feel like you're bored with me or that you don't really like me. I get that feeling from most people, but not from you! You feel like a real friend.
d) This one time when I escaped from Hell and gave birth to a baby despite being male. Then Charles Manson bit off the umbilical cord and stole the baby; He ran away with the girl who had raped me in Hell causing me to get pregnant. So I was just crawling around bleeding everywhere for months on end. (The baby had torn open my chest to get out.) Then you showed up and sewed me back up and even brought me back home to feed me some porridge! Then I noticed fingers and stuff in the porridge and I started fishing out organs until I pulled out your skinless head! I screamed and dropped it back in the porridge when "you" walked in and said "Now that you know my secret, you must JOIN my Bride!" Then "you" tore off all your skin to reveal Neal underneath! He chased me with butcher knives until I woke up. Yes, that is a real dream I had.
e) How did you react to that tree rape scene in Evil Dead? I can't believe Neal showed that movie to you!

a) We had a wonderful conversation in the shout box about eighties horror films. It made me check out your gallery and I really enjoyed the poems and stories so I decided to watch you. You should really write something new mate, it's been ages!
b) Probably the film Nightbreed because you used to have a Peloquin quote in your signature and the novel Cabal was one of the things we discussed in the shout box. It's also your favorite movie, and some of your writing has just a touch of Barker in it.
c) It's so hard just picking one thing! I guess it's mostly that you have a cool personality; you have good taste in movies, good taste in books, you have a great sense of humor, and you're nice guy. Your comments are always encouraging and make me feel good, whether it's on an event in my life, or on some artwork.
d) I remember that time a little while ago when we were discussing what I like to call "Quentin Tarantino's Bambi." That was alot of fun.
e) What attracted you to my gallery in the first place? You've been on my watch list for almost as long as I've been on dA, even back in the days when I knew absolutely nothing about how to draw.

a) I friended you because I liked the art that was on the main page... I think it was Spider-emo. I liked all the other pieces you had at the time and how unique they were compared to other peoples' work on this site.
b) any time I hear a song that you wanted me to listen to, all those songs remind me of you.
c) You are very different from anyone I know, very unique, and I love your art. You've always been very nice to me, too :)
d) (Well, it's not really a memory of you, but about you, and it's not a crazy dream like you had, haha :P ) I remember when you had that deviantid of you with romeo and your poofy hair, my sister walked by the computer while I was browsing your profile, and she said that you were really cute. I've been joking with her to get her to talk to your for a long time :P
e) Answer to your question: Neal and I just laughed, though I was a bit shocked at first! The whole movie was entertaining so I didn't really mind that one part.
And my question to you... How do you really feel about Neal and I being together?

:iconashloomis:
Actually, the first one you saw was one I did of Superman. But you commented on the Spider-Man one shortly afterwards. The Spider-Emo is more unique and memorable though, so I can see why you'd remember it more than just some picture of Superman flying.

As for your question, at first I didn't care. I was happy for him, although I thought it was a little unwise that he was getting involved with someone he didn't know in real life. I told him I thought it wold be best to just be friends and let the romance happen slowly once you two actually met each other. He disagreed, and that was fine; it's his life. I thought he'd just continue to be the same person he always was and that we'd remain friends. But I was wrong about that, and that really upset me for quite some time. But now I don't care anymore. I've accepted that he's not the same person he used to be and that we don't have what we used to have between us. For a long time it hurt having that bond between us gone, but I've grown used to not having it there. It's almost like it never was there to begin with, I'll probably forget about it completely in time. I'm happy you're happy and I wish you two a good life together.

By the way, I'm not saying that it's your fault Neal and I aren't close anymore. It probably would have happened on it's own anyway, but since we grew apart at a time when he was getting involved with romance it felt like it was because he had a girlfriend. But it's not your fault and I have no ill feelings towards you whatsoever. Don't feel guilty, I think you rock!
